Dr. Michael Brody graduated with a B.A. from the University in Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 1991. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in 1995 from the Thomas Jefferson Medical College, receiving the Henry Keller Mohler Memorial Prize for outstanding medical student in Therapeutics. Dr. Brody completed his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 1998. He completed his clinical fellowship in Gastroenterology from the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill in 2001, with the subspecialty training in esophageal disorders, including Gastroesophageal Reflux, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and disorders of the biliary tract. Dr. Brody is a member of the American College of Gastroenterologists, American Gastroenterology Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has published multiple abstracts in the above areas. Dr. Brody is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
