Dr. Michael DeLissio graduated from S.U.N.Y. Albany, Albany, New York with a B.A. in Biology and received his Doctor of Medicine from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo School of Medicine, Buffalo, New York in 1980. He completed his Internal Medicine residency in 1983 from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo. Dr. DeLissio completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont in 1987. He also was a USPHS Trainee in Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism at the University of Vermont. Dr. DeLissio is published in various peer review journals on a variety of gastroenterology and nutritional topics. His interests include colon diseases, peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux and clinical research. Dr. DeLissio is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
