Joining Cary Gastroenterology in 2021, Dr. Nidhi Malhotra is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
Education
Dr. Malhotra is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. She received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Malhotra did her internship and residency in internal medicine at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C., and continued her fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology here, as well. Dr. Malhotra also completed an advanced fellowship in inflammatory bowel diseases at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore Maryland.
Dr. Malhotra served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Medstar Washington Hospital Center and Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington D.C. prior to coming to Cary Gastroenterology.
